Salutations! If you made it to this page I guess that means you want to know a little more about Wildchild, so where do I start?

I’ll start at the beginning. As a creative person I’ve always found artistic outlets , not just to express myself but mostly because I find it soothing. I can’t imagine not making. I’ve tried so many things over the years, drawing, painting , photography, felting, you name it I’ve probably dabbled. Pottery had always been an interest, but here in the hollers of eastern Kentucky there aren’t a lot of places to learn. But I told my husband I knew I could teach myself if I just has a wheel. Wouldn’t you know Christmas morning I have a brand new wheel, and on December 25th I centered my first ball of clay. Just barely but it wasn’t horrible! and the rest is basically history, I’ve been learning and growing ever since, with overwhelming support from friends and family I am now in a place where you can shop my products online and if you’re local you can come see me in the studio!

I want to give a special thanks to my husband, I have a lot of support that I’m grateful for but this guy is irreplaceable . He supports our family so I can be a stay at home mom to our three beautiful boys. And whether it’s brainstorming new projects , building drying shelves, designing this website, or being my assistant, he does it all just because. I love you and I couldn’t do any of it without you.
